The Vermont Room

The Varnum has an entire room dedicated to books about the great State of Vermont! Our books and periodicals cross a wide variety of genres including Genealogy, Art, Local History, Biography, Poetry and Short Stories. Some of these books are rare, and are the only available copy in the state. The vast majority are loanable and guarantee some new insight into our home.
