Join VLT on a relaxed hike, where participants are encouraged to bring along poetry, which we'll stop along the way and share. Don't have a poem? The Varnum Memorial Library who will have poetry books out and would be happy to help you find something.

Please join the Vermont Land Trust, in partnership with the Cambridge Trails Committee, for a relaxed hike through the beautiful Brewster Uplands property. Along the way, we'll stop and share seasonally-inspired poetry and end with some refreshments and warm drinks. Participants are encouraged to bring along a poem that evokes the winter, nature or is just meaningful to them: think of it as a "poetry potluck".

We'll cover about 2-3 miles and the trail is fairly flat. Depending on conditions, snowshoes or other traction devices are encouraged.
