The Varnum Memorial Library is happy to announce that Varnum Reads, the adult book club that exclusively reads young adult literature, is returning this fall! Our first book is the Stonewall Book Award winner Little & Lion by Brandy Colbert.

Little & Lion is a coming of age story about two people falling in love with the same person. If you add stepsiblings, boarding school, and a seemingly-scary diagnosis, this tale of exploring identity keeps the reader engaged and wanting to find out what happens next.

Varnum Reads is open to all adults. We own a copy of this book at the library, but can order multiple copies as needed. Our first meeting will be Thursday, October 24, 7-8pm.
