Cari Varner is the Youth Services Librarian and has been at the Varnum since 2017. Although Cari has a B.S., M.S., and M.U.P and is working on her PhD in environmental design, she is no stranger to a library. In undergrad, Cari spent hours in the stacks as a librarian assistant as well as a researcher, and her mother served as a librarian at her local library and went on to lead the digitization of Gannett’s expansive newspaper holdings. Cari enjoys reading contemporary fiction, and any book that provides insight into gardening in Vermont. Cari has lived across the U.S. and abroad, but is happy to finally call Morrisville and the Varnum home.

Christy Liddy is the Director and has been at the Varnum since 2015. She has served in rural and municipal libraries throughout Nebraska and Vermont, bringing her eclectic love of literature to the community and always excited to assist patrons in selecting something new to read. When she isn't at the library, Christy likes to spend time with her dogs, cats, chickens, and goats; travel; and play board games. Despite being a native Texan, she loves the winters in Vermont. Christy lives in Cambridge with her family.

Linda Cannon-Huffman is a Librarian and has been at the Varnum for seven years. She is a transplanted Southerner but feels at home among the mountains of Vermont. She has a Masters Degree in Librarianship from the University of South Carolina as well as a Masters Degree in Public Health Education. She likes to read, garden and make rattles and drums. Her cats keep her sane when they are not driving her crazy.

Patty Genadio is the Library Clerk. She has been working at the Varnum since 2017 and has been a lifelong library patron wherever she lived. She has her B.A. in English and Spanish and loves to read a good mystery. Patty is an avid genealogist, traveler, and cook. She is an Air Force Brat who has lived all over the U.S. and abroad, even reading all of the English language books in her local library while living in rural Sweden. Patty lives with her family and has called Jeffersonville home for over 20 years.
